Your jobs, ready to go.
Save your folder pairs and switch jobs in a compact library. Your last job stays loaded. Up to 25 pairs per job.
IN CONTROL. IN SYNC.
From source to target. Compare your folders, see exactly what changes, then bring everything into sync. All at your command.

MEET (in)Sync
Two panels. One clear plan. A workspace that makes every change visible.
Save your folder pairs and switch jobs in a compact library. Your last job stays loaded. Up to 25 pairs per job.
Locked files appear at the top of your comparison with a black padlock. Hover for details. They are skipped during sync.
Follow measured throughput, files per second and remaining files. A solid black graph scrolls through the last 30 seconds and adapts to recent speed. After completion the graph resets; the yellow summary stays until you select different folders or a different job.
A SIMPLE RITUAL
No background monitoring. No surprise starts. You decide when to compare and when to sync.
Set the source on the left and the target on the right. Add more pairs when your job needs them.
See what will be added, replaced or removed. Locked items are separated at the top, before you commit.
Run the reviewed plan immediately, without another confirmation dialog. Follow the speed and progress, then check your copied, replaced and removed file totals.
BEYOND YOUR PC
Use a Windows network share as your source or target. Enter a UNC path, a mapped network drive or an smb:// address. Save it in your job and you're ready for next time.
D:\Projects\\NAS\BackupExample paths. Your NAS can also be the source.
GOOD TO KNOW
The MSI installer offers Dutch and English and asks for Windows administrator permission. It installs in Program Files\XASI. The desktop shortcut is on by default and can be switched off. Remove the app through Windows Installed apps; your saved jobs and personal settings are retained. Remove an older EXE installation before installing this MSI.
(in)Sync mirrors from left to right. The source leads; the target is made to match it. It does not merge changes back into the source.
Open the share in Windows Explorer and sign in there first. In (in)Sync, use the NAS button next to either folder field or enter the path directly. An unavailable share stops the comparison instead of being treated as an empty folder.
Compare inventories source and target together, using size and modification time. It does not read all file contents. Files with identical size and time can still have different contents. Writing, file size and metadata are checked before safe placement. Optional SHA-256 copy verification is off by default. Sync uses the reviewed plan without inventorying the whole tree again.
Yes. English is the default. Choose Nederlands in the language menu at the bottom of the job library. Your choice is remembered.
The source says what should exist; the target says what must be added, replaced or removed. Both inventories are necessary and now run together with separate file counters. Network targets can take longer, so metadata requests are reduced and lock checks run in parallel. Folders are excluded from the counters at the bottom.
Files to copy counts new files plus files that will replace existing target files. Of which replaced is part of that total, so do not add it again. Files to remove counts files only. Folder actions are listed separately; unchanged and locked items are excluded from these totals. If both sides match, the file counters show zero and Nothing to sync replaces the Sync action.
In an isolated NAS test of version 3.1 with two large files totalling 2 GiB, the full Sync job averaged 109.5 MB/s, including file checks and safe placement. Native Windows copying avoids client-cache bursts and long cache-draining pauses. Results vary with source, files, NAS and network; small-file batches can be slower. NAS connection messages appear only for network paths and follow the selected language.
MB/s means megabytes per second, not megabits. The display labels copying and checking separately. Extra SHA-256 copy verification is optional and off by default: it reads each destination file back in full, which adds time between copies. Writing, size, metadata and safe placement checks are always active. Finished copies disappear from the left-hand view and receive neon green checks on the right; source files remain untouched.
